I Won! I Won!

Well, I've been following another mamas blog for a while now and she had a contest to win some pampering items. Well, I won! I am so excited because, I never win things. Thank You Becky From Boys Rule My Life, you have truly made my day! Especially since I just spent the last 30 minutes driving my 4 year old daughter to preschool with her younger 2 year old brother screaming the whole way there and back because his snow hat wasn't on right and he refused to take it off!!! Oh and by the way IT'S SNOWING HERE!!! We are having our first real snow fall of the winter. It's so pretty! I love snow. I'm kind of bummed though because this winter I can't sled with my kids since I'm pregnant. But I'll just have to go out there and watch and take lots of pictures!

What's Happening?

Well, this week just flew by! I'm now 27 weeks pregnant. We are going on our hospital tour tommorrow afternoon. Yes, I know this is my 4th baby, but this will be the first delivery at a totally different hospital! I decided to change to a midwife this pregnancy. I really wanted to have a natural, drug free birth this time and I thought that having a midwife would pretty much ensure that. Let's hope I'm right! The place that I'll be having the baby is supposed to be more family based and not so want to hurry you up to have the baby and get you out of the delivery room so the next person can use it!!! In fact, my midwives have their own birthing room with their own special equipment. I'm am so excited to see this hospital!!!
On another note, my kids are really starting to get excited about Christmas. I can't believe it's just around the corner! Kaitlyn, TJ and I watched the Polar Express tonight and they really enjoyed it. Although some of the parts scared poor TJ. He ended up really enjoying it in the end though.
On another really crazy note, guess who's turning 30 in two weeks? Yep me! I'll be turning 30 on Dec. 14th. I can't believe it! I'm not sad at all, I'm actually looking forward to it. I will finally feel like an actual adult. And I will almost have reached my goal for kids. I told Tim when we first got married that I really didn't want to have kids after I was 30. And since I'm pretty sure that this will be our last one I think I achieved my goal. Even though when I first told him that he thought I was crazy, we sure did pop out our 3 kids fast!(Well, almost! The last one hasn't popped out yet)!

It's Getting Closer!!!

This baby is going to be here before I know it! I'm 25 weeks this week and now that the holidays are less then a week away the time is really going to fly by! Next week Thanksgiving, then in another month it's Christmas and then New Years! I went to my midwife appointment this past Wednesday and have my GD test. When the appointment was over she told me that I'd see them in a month and then I'd start going every two weeks. I can't believe that's coming already! I'm actually not nervous at all, just very excited! I can't wait to have another tiny baby in my arms and in my sling! I guess that's all for now!

Long Time No Blog!

So it's been forever since I blogged last. I guess it's because I have been busy getting huge! I'm now 23 weeks pregnant and look much bigger. I finally started feeling better around 18 weeks, which is officially the longest and worst I've felt in all 4 pregnancies! But I'm on the up and up now and the time is just flying by. In no time we will be welcoming our new daughter into the world hopefully surrounded by our other 3 kids. Thats all for now!

On The Up and Up

Well, I'm starting to feel better the past few days. I'll be 12 weeks on Saturday so I was hoping my yuckies would go away soon! I'm glad too, because now I can spend more time with my family and less time laying in bed alone. It's been hard on all of us. I have informed Tim that this will be our last baby because I just don't think I can go through this again. Don't get me wrong, I love our children and I love being pregnant (besides the 1st trimester and the end of the 3rd)! I just think that my maternal cup in now filled. So I'm planning on really cherishing this last pregnancy and newborn. I'll just have to get my baby fix when my friends and family have more children!
Nothing much else is going on. Kaitlyn will be turning 4 in just a couple of weeks and boy is she excited! And school is starting in a few short weeks. Chris will be going into 3rd grade and Kaitlyn will be starting her 2nd year of preschool. So once again it will be just TJ and I 4 mornings a week. Well, at least until the baby comes! I think he really enjoys his 1 on 1 time with mommy since he doesn't get it very much. And I really of enjoy it too! They are all growing up so fast!!

Tired, So, So Very Tired

Well, I'm about 6 weeks pregnant now and I am sooooo tired! I wake tired in the morning and go to bed tired in the evening. I'm even tired after taking a nap with the kids. I've never been this tired before with my other 3 pregnancies. I hope it goes away soon because it's making me rather cranky, just ask my hubby! Ha Ha. Anyway, not much else is going on around here. Tomorrow is the 4th of July and we don't know what we are doing. We'll probably go to see fireworks somewhere around here. I'm not sure how the kids will react to it. TJ has never seen fireworks. We didn't go anywhere last year because he was only a year old and we thought they would scare him. Hopefully it will go ok this year! I hope everyone has a safe and happy July 4th!!

Really Exciting News!!

Well, I'd like to announce that there is going to be a new addition to our bunch. I just found out that I'm pregnant with our 4th!! I'm only like 4 weeks but I'm so excited!!!! We've been trying for a while to add to our family and it's finally happened. Just thought I'd share the good news!! The only other person that I told besides my hubby or course is our daughter. She is very excited, but she's almost 4 so I don't think that secret will be a secret for very long. What do you all think? My 8 year old son isn't here, he is with his dad this week so he'll get the good news on Sunday when he comes home. He will be VERY excited, he's been asking for another sibling. I'm hoping I don't feel as sick as last time, but considering that I've been feeling kind of ill all week is not a good sign. Oh well, the morning sickness only lasts for a short time. I think I can handle it!

Gardening Day

I am so HAPPY!! After living here for almost 4 years my husband finally agreed to pull out our half dead bushes in the front yard and replace them with really pretty bushes and flowers. We worked on it all afternoon and got it finished!! It looks so nice! Now we just want to get some stones to put in front so it looks nice and neat. Next project, painting the kitchen and finishing the backyard!! We are getting things done slowly, but surely!! I'll have to post some pics of the front yard after we get the stones layed out!

Fathers Day

Today was Fathers Day. I think my husband had a good one. My kids and I got up extra early before church and made him breakfast in bed. He then opened his presents and relaxed. But not for too long! We had to be at church by 9am. We went to early service and then to class. It is the first Sunday class that my husband has gone to with me, which made it very special. I am so happy that he's taking church so seriously now. He was baptized at the age of 30, just a few weeks ago and he has changed a lot since then. I feel as though our family is whole now and that I will have my husband in heaven with me. I was very worried about that for a long time. After my hubby was baptized our 10 year old nephew said the same thing. He said,"phew, now I know that you will be in heaven with all of us!" Out of the mouths of babes! But it is so true. After we went to church we went to my parents and had lunch with my family. That was great too!!! So all in all I think that we had a good Fathers Day! I hope everyone elses was great too!!!

Big Boy Bed!!!

Well, last night was TJ's first night in his big boy bed. TJ and Chris, my oldest son share a bedroom so we brought the bunk bed up from the basement. It made me kind of sad when we took the crib apart. :-( But since we are trying to have another one, hopefully we'll put it back up again eventually. Don't know where we would do that, though!!! I put a bed rail in the front and it fit perfectly next to the ladder so there was no where for him to fall out. He did VERY well!! I layed with him for a little while and he just wouldn't relax so I got up and told him to stay in bed. He wasn't very happy about it but he only tried to get out once!! He slept all night long, I couldn't believe it. He even stayed awake with his brother above him moving around! He did wake up at 6:30am and wake everyone else up too, but that's alright. We'll see how nap time goes!! It'll be an early one today!

Rainy Day

So today is the first nasty rainy day that we've had in a long while. When I woke up this morning to get my oldest up and ready for school the other two were wide awake too. I could have stayed in bed all day and just slept. Last night I had terrible insomnia, as I usually do at least once a week. I don't know why it happens but it does. My 3 munchkins though on the other had were ready to roll! The only down side to rainy days is that I have to hang our clothes inside instead of outside, so it takes longer to dry. I guess we'll just have a lazy rainy day here today.
